Annual Hiring Range:

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Labor Planning: Assist in creating and maintaining labor plans that align with operational needs and business objectives.

  • Workforce Forecasting: Analyze historical trends and operational data to forecast short-term and long-term labor requirements and support staffing decisions.

  • Budget Support: Collaborate with Finance and Operations to monitor labor budgets, track variances, and provide cost-saving insights.

  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Prepare and maintain labor planning reports and dashboards, highlighting key metrics such as utilization, productivity, and cost.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Operations, HR, and Finance teams to ensure labor plans align with operational and financial strategies.

  • Scheduling Support: Review and recommend adjustments to weekly staffing schedules to meet changing business demands.

  • Process Improvement: Identify and recommend opportunities to improve labor planning processes and enhance operational efficiency.

  • Compliance: Ensure all labor planning activities adhere to company policies and applicable labor regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

  • Experience in workforce planning, labor scheduling, or financial/operational analysis.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables) and other Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint).

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings to management.

  • Highly organized, adaptable, and able to work independently under tight deadlines.

  • Familiarity with labor regulations and union agreements is a plus.

Work Experience:

  • Minimum 6 years of Business Analysis experience.  Preference in Supply Chain or Logistics field.

  • Project coordination experience required

  • Work experience in an operations or manufacturing environment preferred

  • Experience working within a cross-functional team

Job Skills

  • Working knowledge of Supply Chain / Logistics / Inventory

  • Excellent Microsoft Windows, Excel, PowerPoint, Word is required.  Proficiency in scheduling or drafting software (e.g. Visio) and Visual Basic required.

  • Detail oriented and time-management driven

  • Proven follow-up, problem solving, and organizational skills

  • Self-starter requiring little supervision

  • Ability to adapt well to change and change management in fast paced environment, flexible and responsive.

  • Database management experience

  • Strong sense of accountability

  • Confidentiality required

  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, solve problems, make recommendations, and draw valid conclusions in a timely and accurate manner.

  • Must possess strong analytical skills including experience creating reports, efficiently communicating results through the use of supporting tables, graphs, and presentation quality materials.

Technical Skills: (Certification, Licenses and Registration)

  • Lean or Six Sigma training is preferred

  • APICS CPIM

Language / Communication Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as ability to deal effectively with all levels of internal and external customers.

  • Multi-lingual skill especially Spanish or Mandarin is preferred
