Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate:

  • $60,000-$63,000/Per Year

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Creates and maintains the customer(s) schedules, billing, and invoicing setup within the Company’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system following the customer(s) contract terms.  In the case of electronic self-invoicing customers, coordinates with the technical IT teams given an automated process.
  • Investigates and resolves invoice related issues affecting revenue.
  • Participates in month end close.
  • Executes month end activities for respective customer(s) as it relates to finalization of customer invoices, performs applicable debit/credit memos, posts final unit revenues and revenue adjustments or accruals.
  • Submits customer invoices, manually or electronically.
  • Resolves reconciliation gaps for any open periods as it relates to unpaid invoices.
  • Participates in routine accounting and governmental (port authority and tax) audits.
  • Sets up and supports new customer(s) in the system.
  • Supports the cash application process and monitors customer payments.
  • Directly interacts with customer(s).

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree or relevant equivalent experience required
  • Previous Financial experience preferred

Work Experience:

  • 1-3 years’ demonstrated analyst work experience. 
  • Proven experience within an ERP environment.
  • Work experience in an operations or manufacturing environment
  • Work experience in a food production or food service environment
  • Experience working within a cross-functional team

Job Skills:

  • Demonstrate proficiency in billing/reconciliations
  • Must demonstrate and have advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Must have solid analytical skills. 
  • Display an outstanding work ethic.
  • Must work effectively in a team based environment.
  • Must have the ability and desire to meet required timelines.
  • Strong mathematical aptitude.

Technical Skills: (Certification, Licenses and Registration)

  • None

Language / Communication Skills:

  • Ability to communicate well with internal and external customers, verbally and in writing.

Work Demands:

  • Regular and on-time attendance.
  • Hours regularly exceed 40 hours per week.
