Reporting to the Menu, Administrative Manager, this position will assist with menu data administration and communication to key stakeholders in the Delta Air Lines menu development process, helping to ensure the timely communication of accurate menu specifications to Delta’s catering partners and related service providers worldwide.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Adheres to customer driven lead-times for all tasks related to the completion and communication of new/amended menu specifications. 

  • Supports all stakeholders, including but not limited to, Menu Development Chefs, Delta Customer Care teams, Delta catering partners, Sourcing and Operations as a contact to answer Delta menu specification related questions. 

  • Monitors the delivery and content of vendor specifications for all food items, and escalates timing/accuracy issues to the appropriate stakeholder as needed. 

  • Assists Catering Partners and Menu Planners by creating and updating ingredients, recipes and menus in IFX, with a goal of 100% accuracy. 

  • Investigates and responds to customer/caterer queries regarding Menu Specifications. 

  • Assist in mapping of Meal Service types with in Paxia/IFX data base.

  • Supports the maintenance of Food Service Receipt (FSR) text and Menu ID’s in IFX. 

  • Other responsibilities and Projects as needed. 

Qualifications

Education:

  • High School diploma required. Associate or Bachelor's degree is a plus 

Work Experience: 

  • 2-3 years of professional work experience utilizing MS excel, ERP software, ideally in the airline catering field 

  • Experience working with menu/pricing data within IFX/SAP or similar environment preferred

  • Experience working cross-functionally with customers and internal teams 

  • Previous experience in a data-driven, environment utilizing critical thinking 

  • Experience requiring attention to detail, high accuracy and time management 

Technical Skills: (Certification, Licenses and Registration) 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, database applications and web-based systems  

Language / Communication Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 

  • Ability to communicate concisely and confidently with internal and external customers, verbally and in writing - strong interpersonal skills and teamwork.  

  • Deadline accountability, strong work ethic

  • Hours regularly exceed 40 hours per week 

  • Hybrid, Remote or in person office environment as directed
