Overview

We're on the lookout for motivated, team-oriented CDL Drivers who want to help make travel better for everyone. In this role, you'll be loading catering equipment onto trucks, delivering it to aircraft, and working around the airport and local roads. If you’ve got a valid CDL (Class A or B), can handle a flexible schedule, and don’t mind working outdoors, we’ve got a lot to offer—weekly pay, free meals and uniforms, paid time off, and a full range of benefits including health coverage, a 401(k) match, and employee discounts.

We are now hiring full time Drivers to work in our flight kitchen located at the Vancouver International Airport in Richmond, British Columbia.  

A Driver will be required to:

  • Deliver temperature-controlled food and related goods via Gate Gourmet vehicle airside to our customer’s aircrafts

  • Manually load and unload galley equipment and goods onto and off trucks and aircrafts

  • Operate safely at all times, respecting specified rules and regulations while adhering to specific customer guidelines

  • Monitor deliveries for accuracy and security

  • Interact with and provide superior customer service to onboard airline representatives and partners

Job Specific Requirements:

  • Class 5 Drivers License or higher

  • Clean driving record 

  • Obtain and maintain, a Transport Canada Security Clearance

  • Obtain and maintain an airside vehicle operators permit (practical & written testing conducted)

  • Manage your time and prioritize tasks in a fast paced, extremely time sensitive environment

  • follow directions and communicate with supervisors and co-workers

  • must be able to lift, push, pull, and move product, equipment and supplies up to fifty (50) pounds

Education Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Rate of Pay:CA$25.27 per hour
